Salmonberries grow wild throughout Southeast Alaska. We harvest mid June to mid July, usually bringing in a couple thousand pounds! Needless to say, it is a very busy time of year for us. We have faithful friends that share in the harvest each year and we look forward to the time we get to spend out in the bushes as a family. They are a raspberry/blackberryish berry with their very own unique flavor. Try it! Each jar is 4 ounces.
